Itinerary:-Delhi to Spiti Thrill Ride

Day 1 - Delhi → Manali | Overnight Journey to the Hills;

Upon reaching Delhi, proceed to your scheduled boarding point in the evening to begin your journey to the Himalayas. Board the overnight Volvo/AC coach that will take you through the winding highways towards Manali, often called the gateway to Spiti Valley. As the bus leaves behind the city lights, settle into your seat and enjoy the changing scenery from bustling streets to quieter outskirts. This overnight ride gives you time to relax and prepare for the adventure that awaits. Wake up the next morning amidst the cool mountain air and lush surroundings of Manali, marking the first step of your thrilling Delhi to Spiti expedition. Overnight travel in the bus.;

Day 2 - Manali Sightseeing | Exploring the Himalayan Town;

Upon arrival at the Manali Bus Stand in the morning, you will be greeted by the driver who will transfer you to your pre-booked hotel. Check in, freshen up, and enjoy a wholesome breakfast before beginning your day of exploration. Today’s sightseeing tour covers some of Manali’s most charming attractions, including the sacred Hadimba Temple nestled amidst deodar forests, the serene Buddhist Monastery, and the lively Clubhouse. You will also visit Siyali Mahadev Temple, take a refreshing walk through Van Vihar National Park, and experience the laid-back vibe of Old Manali with its quaint cafes and local shops. After an enriching day, return to your hotel for dinner and a comfortable overnight stay in Manali.;

Day 3 - Manali → Kaza | Into the Heart of Spiti Valley;

After check-out, meet your driver at the hotel and begin your scenic drive towards Kaza, the headquarters of Spiti Valley. Your journey takes you through the engineering marvel of the Atal Tunnel, opening up to breathtaking Himalayan landscapes. Drive past the picturesque meadows of Chatru and the rugged beauty of Batal, often called a green oasis amidst the mountains. As you ascend further, cross the majestic Kunzum Pass at 14,931 feet, offering panoramic views of snow-clad peaks and fluttering prayer flags. Stop at Losar, the first village of Spiti Valley, where the landscape begins to transform into stark high-altitude desert terrain. By evening, arrive at Kaza and check in to your hotel for an overnight stay.;

Day 4 - Kaza Sightseeing | High Villages & Monasteries;

After breakfast, your driver will pick you up from the hotel for a full-day sightseeing tour around Kaza. Begin with a drive to Komik, the highest inhabited village in Asia, offering mesmerizing views of snow-clad peaks. Continue to Hikkim, where you can visit the world’s highest post office and even send a postcard as a memory of your journey. Next, head to Langza, famous for its ancient Lang Temple and giant Buddha statue overlooking the valley. Visit the renowned Key Monastery, a spiritual hub of Spiti, followed by Kibber, known for its scenic charm and wildlife. End the day with a short visit to Gette Village before returning to Kaza. Day 5 - Kaza → Tabo & Pin Valley Excursion | Monasteries & Scenic Villages;

This morning, the driver will pick you up from your hotel in Kaza for an excursion to some of Spiti’s most fascinating gems. Begin with a visit to the historic Tabo Monastery, often called the “Ajanta of the Himalayas” for its ancient murals and Buddhist scriptures. Continue to Dhankar, a small village crowned by the dramatic Dhankar Monastery perched high above the valley. Your journey then takes you into the picturesque Pin Valley, home to a national park known for rare wildlife like snow leopards and ibex. Explore the revered Kungri Monastery and drive further to Mudh, the last motorable village of Pin Valley, surrounded by stunning vistas. By evening, return to your hotel in Kaza for an overnight stay.;

Day 6 - Kaza → Chandratal Lake | The Moon Lake Experience;

After check-out, meet your driver and begin the journey from Kaza towards the enchanting Chandratal Lake, situated along the Kaza–Manali route. The drive takes you through rugged Himalayan landscapes, with ever-changing vistas of barren valleys and towering peaks. Upon arrival, witness the breathtaking beauty of Chandratal, also known as the “Moon Lake,” nestled at the base of the Chandra Bhaga mountain range. Later, head to your pre-booked campsite near Chandratal, where you will enjoy dinner and an overnight stay under the starry skies.;

Day 7 - Chandratal → Manali → Delhi | Return Journey;

After check-out from your campsite, meet your driver and begin the return drive towards Manali. En route, enjoy scenic views of the majestic Geyan Peaks and the rugged Himalayan terrain that has been your companion throughout the journey. Cross once again through the iconic Atal Tunnel, one of the longest high-altitude tunnels in the world, to reach Manali. Upon arrival, you can spend some free time at leisure, strolling along the bustling Mall Road, shopping for souvenirs, or simply relaxing in a café. In the evening, proceed to the Manali bus stand to board your overnight bus back to Delhi. Arrive in Delhi the following day, marking the end of your unforgettable Spiti Valley adventure.;
