Start with a visit to the Hall of Fame, honoring the heroes of the Indo-Pak War, followed by Spituk Gompa, which houses ancient masks, Thangkas, and weapons in its museum. Enjoy a delicious langar at Gurudwara Pathar Sahib and learn the story behind its construction by the army. Experience the quirky Magnetic Hill, where vehicles seem to defy gravity, and visit Indus Sangam Viewpoint to witness the merging of the Zanskar and Indus Rivers. End the day with a visit to SECMOL, the innovative “3-Idiots” school. Return to Leh for dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.;

After a hearty breakfast, drive towards Turtuk, the northernmost outpost of India bordering Pakistan’s Gilgit-Baltistan, and a gateway to the Siachen Glacier. The dramatic narrow valleys and steep mountains present a landscape very different from Central Ladakh and Nubra. At a lower altitude than Leh, Turtuk is blessed with green pastures and orchards yielding fresh apricots and apples, giving a refreshing change to your journey. At one of the highest altitude saline lakes in the world, Pangong Tso amazes with its ever-changing colors, shifting from shades of blue to green and red. Spend the day exploring the serene surroundings, with the Shyok River on one side and majestic mountains on the other. Capture unforgettable memories and recreate iconic scenes from your favorite Bollywood movies like 3 Idiots or Jab Tak Hai Jaan, adding a cinematic touch to your adventure. Ans: The best time is from May to September when the roads are open, weather is pleasant, and all lakes & passes are accessible.
May–June: Snow-capped mountains, perfect for bikers.
July–September: Best for adventure activities & clear views of Pangong, Nubra, and Tso Moriri.
October–April: Extremely cold, but ideal for those seeking the Chadar Trek (frozen river trek).
