Itinerary:-Soul of the Forest | Meghalaya’s 5-Day Nature & Heritage Expedition

Day 1 - Arrival in Shillong | Discover the Spiritual Aura of Mawphlang Sacred Grove;

Arrive in Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya, and travel to the revered Mawphlang Sacred Grove, one of India’s most well-preserved natural sanctuaries. Led by a local guide, walk through its mystical trails lined with moss, orchids, and ancient stones said to guard the forest spirits. Discover how Khasi tribes honor and protect this sacred ecosystem through rituals and traditions. Spend the rest of the day exploring Laitlum Canyon or Ward’s Lake, soaking in Shillong’s serene atmosphere. Overnight stay in Shillong.;

Day 2 - Shillong to Nongriat | Journey to the Living Root Bridges;

After breakfast, drive towards Cherrapunji and begin your trek to Nongriat, the village famed for its Double Decker Living Root Bridge. Trek down stone steps through lush tropical forests and bubbling streams. The root bridges, woven over centuries, stand as living symbols of human harmony with nature. Relax by natural pools or enjoy a dip in crystal-clear waters before returning to your homestay. In the evening, interact with villagers to learn about their sustainable way of life. Day 3 - Cherrapunji to Balpakram National Park | Into the Land of Spirits;
