Early morning, meet our representative at Haridwar or Rishikesh and begin the scenic drive to Chopta, often referred to as the βMini Switzerland of Uttarakhand.β Enjoy the picturesque views of the Garhwal Himalayas, winding mountain roads, and lush pine forests along the way. On arrival at Chopta, check in to your camp accommodation surrounded by tranquil meadows and breathtaking natural beauty. Spend the evening at leisure, soaking in the peaceful mountain ambiance. Enjoy a delicious dinner under the starlit sky at the campsite. Overnight Stay: In camp at Chopta.;
After breakfast, take a short 10-minute drive to the trekking starting point. Begin the trek to the Tungnath Temple (3.5 km one way), the highest Shiva temple in the world, surrounded by snow-clad peaks and lush Himalayan forests. Continue to the Chandrashila Peak (1.5 km each way) for panoramic views of the majestic Himalayan ranges, including Nanda Devi, Trishul, and Chaukhamba. After an invigorating trek and time for photography and reflection, descend back to the base camp in Chopta. Spend the evening relaxing amidst the serene alpine meadows. After breakfast, check out from the camp and drive to Kanakchauri Village (approx. 2.5 hours), a serene Himalayan hamlet surrounded by snow-clad peaks and lush forests. Upon arrival, begin the 3 km trek to Kartik Swami Temple, a sacred hilltop shrine dedicated to Lord Kartikeya. Spend time at the temple, offering prayers and enjoying the breathtaking 360-degree views of the Garhwal Himalayas. After darshan and photography, trek back to Kanakchauri Village. In the evening, relax and enjoy a delicious dinner. Overnight stay will be in a home-stay or camp, experiencing the authentic Himalayan village ambiance. After breakfast, check out from the stay and begin the drive back towards Haridwar or Rishikesh, passing through scenic valleys and riverside routes. En route, visit the confluence of Alaknanda and Mandakini Rivers at Rudraprayag and the sacred Devprayag, where the Bhagirathi and Alaknanda rivers merge to form the Ganga. Continue the journey with panoramic Himalayan views, reflecting on the spiritual and adventurous experiences of the trek. Upon arrival in Haridwar or Rishikesh, you will be dropped at the railway station or bus stand for your onward journey.
