Itinerary:-Ganga Sagar Pilgrimage & Heritage Tour

Day 1 - Arrival in Kolkata: The Cultural Gateway;

Arrive in Kolkata, meet our representative, and transfer to your hotel. After relaxing, begin exploring the city’s charm — visit Victoria Memorial, Kalighat Temple, and Dakshineswar Kali Temple on the banks of the Hooghly River. Stroll through College Street’s book markets or enjoy a tram ride through old Kolkata’s colonial streets. In the evening, relish local Bengali cuisine and sweets like rasgulla or sandesh. Day 2 - Kolkata to Diamond Harbour (55 km / 2 hrs);

After breakfast, drive to Diamond Harbour, located where the Hooghly River widens before meeting the sea. Day 3 - Diamond Harbour to Ganga Sagar (110 km / 4 hrs + ferry);

Early morning, drive to Kachuberia, where you’ll board a ferry to reach Ganga Sagar Island — a sacred confluence of the Ganga and the Bay of Bengal. Visit Kapil Muni Ashram, where devotees perform rituals and seek blessings. Take a holy dip in the Sagar Sangam, believed to purify the soul and wash away sins.
